Oleg Korenfeld's new book - The Anatomy of Gluttony

Oleg's poetry is a very personal, raw and unapologetic view of the world based on his own experiences; often paying homage to his influences like John Lennon, Salvador Dali, Vladimir Visotsky and Joseph Brodsky. Besides poetry, Oleg also writes music and performs with his rock band. THE ANATOMY OF GLUTTONY is a selected collection of poems written between 1998 and 2005.

Oleg Korenfeld was born on June 29th, 1977 in Khabarovsk, Russia on the day of his parents' graduation from medical school. When Oleg was four, the family moved to Daugavpils, Latvia where they lived until 1989. In the fall of that year the family immigrated to US and settled in Brooklyn, New York.

While working in the internet advertising industry, Oleg attended Bernard Baruch College part-time and eventually graduated with a degree in Industrial Psychology.

Music and art have always been a very important part of Oleg's life and to this day heavily influence his writing.
